Affiliate Disclosure

This page explains how affiliate links work on LinoDash, how I earn from them, and the rules I hold myself to. It follows the disclosure standards set out in the US Federal Trade Commission’s guides on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a tracking link to a product. If you click it and then buy, the company knows the sale came from here and pays me a commission. You pay exactly the same price either way. Using my link never costs you more.

This is how most independent review sites fund their work. It buys me the time to actually test tools and write about them properly, instead of running intrusive ads or putting everything behind a paywall.

How I earn from this site

1. You click an affiliate link in one of my articles.
2. You buy the product at the company’s normal price.
3. The company pays me a commission: a fixed amount, or a percentage of the sale.

That commission comes out of the company’s marketing budget, not your pocket, and it adds nothing to what you pay.

Who I have relationships with

I’m in the affiliate programmes of companies whose tools I review, and in networks that manage those relationships for several brands at once. The list changes as I test new tools and retire old recommendations, but they are mostly:

• Course and digital product platforms.
• Community and membership platforms.
• Email marketing and newsletter tools.
• Website builders and other software for creators.

Where an article contains affiliate links, you’ll find a note on that article too. The disclosure belongs where the recommendation is.

My standards

A commission never buys a good review. These rules don’t bend for any partner:

• I test what I recommend. I write about tools I have used, not products I have only read about.
• The opinions are mine. Reviews include the flaws, the limits, and the cases where a tool is the wrong choice.
• Commission doesn’t affect ranking. A bigger payout has never moved a tool up a list.
• I recommend against things. If a product isn’t worth it, I say so, affiliate programme or not.
• No paid reviews. Nobody can pay me to write a review, or to be reviewed well.

How I choose what to recommend

The aim is the tool that fits your situation, not the one that pays best. I weigh how it actually performs day to day, what you get for the price, the quality of support, and who it genuinely suits. Several of the tools I recommend most often pay small commissions, or none at all. They are there because they serve beginners and tight budgets well.

Your choices

Using my links is entirely optional. If you’d rather a purchase wasn’t credited to me, you can:

• Go to the product’s website directly instead of clicking my link.
• Clear your cookies before buying, which removes the tracking that credits the sale.

Same product, same price either way. If you do use the links, they cost you nothing and they pay for the testing behind these reviews. I’m grateful for it.

What I can’t promise

The tools I write about are built by companies I don’t control. I can tell you honestly how something worked for me, but I can’t guarantee it will work the same for you, that the features or pricing will stay as they are, or that a company will deliver what you hope. Software changes fast so check the current details on the product’s own site before you buy. Anything you purchase is a deal between you and that company, under their terms, not mine.
